Re: What would be an interesting prequel?

I don't think that any prequel would be interesting, unless that it is set so far back in time and/or so far away that there is really no connection to SoI&F. Otherwise, the plot is already affected by SoI&F's story, and there probably will not be a coherent story to be told. (This was the #1 thing ...

Re: How would you like to see Cersei die?

Killed by Jaime, of course, and realizing that she'd misunderstood what "Little Brother" meant.

Re: The She-Wolf of the Vale

As luck would have it, you get a very prompt reply from me! Baelish will not be cast out of the Moon Door because they've already left the Eyrie for the Winter and will not return there until Spring. Moreover, I think that Baelish does have to hang around: otherwise, there is no reason for Sansa to ...

Re: Private Tyrion/Cereci Dragonpit Meeting

Given that Cersei didn't return in good faith, the answer is obvious: Cersei saw an angle that she could use to backstab Daenerys and Jon that she had not seen before.

Re: The winds of winter release date

It's the 5th of January, dammit! I am entitled to my annual "No, I'm still not done with Winds of Winter but I hope to be by the end of the year" statement!

Book Tyrion wants revenge on Cersei. TV Tyrion has never shown any such desire, in particular since he left KL. He’s the purest good guy main character on the show, give or take Jon.
One, yes, Tyrion has expressed it, and, two, there are no "pure[st] good guys" on the show.

How to get SoI&F seasons!

How you can get the weird seasonality in SoI&F comes up periodically among SoI&F fans. So, here is a link to a tongue-in-cheek article written (pseudonymously, of course!) by climate scientists at Bristol!

So if Tyrion IS playing the long con it doesn't count because I predicted it. :D
heh, touché! But, again: expect something just a little more parsimonious! 8-)

Having said that it was an enjoyable theory but I don't think there's anything to support it in what we've seen so far.
Like most fan theories, it employs Macco's Sponge: look for the least parsimonious explanation and assume that it's true even after it doesn't happen! :D

Re: Do you think Bran is the Night King?

There are holes in the theory that the NK is Azor Ahai/prince that was promised/the last hero, but I think it's very possible. Any thoughts? It is much more plausible that R'hllor is both the remnant and apotheosis of Azor Ahai. The Great Other was around before Azor Ahai, after all, but we've no i...
