Re: Actors in the dark, how DnD herd them with fake scenes?
Def too expensive. I was thinking Sophie Turner. But I suppose you're right. A few new videos assessing the deleting have come out and I can see how it's viewed as a mess and beyond the capacity of DnD. Maybe their writing was so bad that the later salvage seemed better...or maybe the salvage made ...

Re: What is Sansa's intention when sending Brienne ?
I'm convinced that Sansa faked the letter inviting her to KL as an excuse to send Brienne away (didn't she burn it?). Why? I dunno… So much of the sister-vs-sister thread confounds effective storytelling. I still believe that they were playing LF all along, and their reconciliation afterwards was s...

Re: Ending the problem
Maybe, though given the slavers had already treacherously broken a brokered peace agreement (made under honored rules of parley) I don't think that this was undeserved treachery. And certainly not a "moral mistake". It's like Grey Worm and Missy said. There is no trust or negotiation to be had when ...

Re: s7 Death Pool
Just thought it would be fun to bump this thread to see how wrong/right we were... I forgot to even mention poor Thoros...! Besides him we had Olenna, sort-of Eliaria, sort-of Viserion, and of course the big one: SANSA KILLS LF 2k17! So happy about that last but I was assuming it would be S8. So. Aw...

Re: Ending the problem
Like I said before, she had no interest in ruling over slaver scum. Also these were invaders who wanted to reinstate slavery - not mereneese. She has every interest in keeping the people free and being their leader. In Westeros at this point she seems to still want to rule over the aristocracy. So s...

Show and Books concordance (book spoilers)
I'm curious about everyone's opinions about how close the major beats of the story will be in the books assuming they ever come out. A friend of mine hated this season, partly because she thought it was nothing like what will happen in the books (personally I don't care about that much, as long as i...

Re: Ending the problem
If Dany did this, she would be showing herself to be capable of the vilest sort of treachery, as bad as Walder Frey or Cersei at the Sept of Baelor. This was a parlay under flag of truce. It would be like if when Ramsey and Jon met before the BotB, Jon just killed Ramsey. If people violate truce lik...

Re: Being content with your favorite character's death
Yes, Littlefinger is my favorite character. But I also had a lingering suspicion that his end was near. So, I wasn't surprised when Arya slit his throat. Sure, I was bummed. Yet, I feel there could have been no better way for him to go. It completed his storyline perfectly, drawing a complete circl...

Re: Cersie's demise
Even without the show!Valonqar, Cersei believes the prophecy - why would she be pleased about being pregnant with a fourth kid? She's still hoping to avert it. I think she was totally shocked by becoming pregnant and suddenly has a slight amount of hope that she won't have everything taken by tYaMB...

Re: The Problem with Winterfell
A couple things I remember that could point to Arya's (quite understandable) resentment - I dont' think Jealousy - of Sansa (and all things girly) as a child, thus giving her a good internal reason to be suspicious of Sansa now... Arya is dismissive of Sansa wanting to ride with Princess Myrcella - ...
