Re: Have I gone too far with my butt hurtedness over S6?
Very well said. Also, after 5 seasons, there is no need for character development, things come together, we get solutions and endings leading up to the final act. Well, not quite no need, but there is much less need! At this point, the storytelling is relying on the characters already having been d...

Re: Have I gone too far with my butt hurtedness over S6?
I'm of the opinion that series 6 was less satisfying because it introduced some elements from the books that didn't work there either. eg Sand Snakes. For me, book GOT became tedious because the world got too big and the characters too numerous when it should have been drawing to a conclusion. TV G...

Re: Religion in Westeros
So, Religion (always fun to bring up in a bar full of strangers). I’d like to believe that in a world as detailed as ASOIAF, GRRM has good reasons for describing the things he does - in this case the various religions. The thing is, I don’t remember any time that the Faith of the Seven, the dominat...

Re: Con of Thrones
All those attending, welcome to my city! Nashville is an awesome place. I won't make it myself due to some family commitments but I'm really interested to see how it comes off. Nashville is on my list of cities in the US to go to. My favorite football team are the Tennessee Titans and want to go wa...

Re: Theories, Wild Theories, & General Lunacy
Thanks for the info on the Frey... I forgot about those little details. And as I said before, i DO NOT think she is a villain or that any of her killings are unjustified. But I do not see Sansa as a villain (as some have called her) the same way I do not see Arya as one either. Everything Sansa has...

Re: Theories, Wild Theories, & General Lunacy
I was talking about the "main" characters.... One can argue Bran as well. Daenerys. She and Jon are very similar in this, Jon perhaps a bit more selfless. Dragonbringer is not going to like this comment. :D Don't want to answer for Dee but I think what she meant is that Jon is the only one who does...
