Re: Potential biggest GOT shock ever final episode season 7?

That only shows she has a high resistance to heat. When Dany tied Mirri Maz Duur to the funeral pyre she was using blood magic to trade her life for her own. The same is suggested when she took out the Dothraki khals. So far, Dany hasn't managed to survive fire without a life being taken.

Re: A Bittersweet Prediction

It makes the Dany storyline superfluous. Arya does nothing either. Chekhov wouldn't approve.

Re: Dany need a few things

No. It would weigh Drogon down and affect his maneuverability. It wouldn't be respected by the Dothraki either who fight without armor. It's not likely to be effective anyway. A missile coming at that size and velocity will need very heavy armor to withstand it. Dany didn't know about the Scorpion. ...

Re: Potential biggest GOT shock ever final episode season 7?

Isn't blood magic required? Whose life will have to be sacrificed to make Jon fire-proof?

Re: Dany - Villain? Savior? Something else?

Relativism is just relativism. I don't see why pointing out that some would have different POVs is relativism at its worst. If Dany helps destroy the WWs she will be a villain to them. But to the living, she'll be a savior. But what if the majority of people who benefit dictates the morality of it a...

Re: Lord Parramandas's written reviews

An interesting, well written review. I don't agree about Dany though. Jon brought nothing to the table other than talk about zombies coming to get them. He wanted Dany's help but offered nothing in return. From Dany's POV, he's a waste of time - won't bend the knee, won't help against Cercei - but ...

Re: Lord Parramandas's written reviews

It's still POV since we make judgments on the information available to us. But I think Dany's point was that Ned helped Robert ascend the throne and was therefore indirectly responsible for any actions of Robert's as king, and not that he would have condoned having her killed.

Re: Detailed Spoilers - Episode 4 - HBO leak

I wouldn't say the battle is necessarily pointless. It sounds like a massive blow to Cersei's camp, tons of their loot destroyed, massive amounts of their army obliterated, one of their most talented commanders captured and killed while Dany likely suffers few losses. I'll say it even the odds a bi...

Re: Dany - Villain? Savior? Something else?

She's a savior to some (the slaves) and a villain to others (the masters). Depends on POV.

Re: Lord Parramandas's written reviews

"And I really enjoyed the moment when Dany pointed out that House Stark pledged fealty to Aegon the Conqueror for eternity, but on the other hand Jon pointed out that her father murdered Lord Rickard and Brandon Stark, his grandfather and uncle." I liked Dany's response to this that Jon's father ha...
