Re: Lord Parramandas's written reviews
Tyrion and Dany talk about it when they meet. Dany refers to a twenty year campaign to have her killed. Tyrion suspects Varys is the reason why she and her brother were always one step ahead of the assassins. And if Varys was involved in keeping them safe, that implicates Robert. We also have the e...

Re: Lord Parramandas's written reviews
Yes, there were good kings as well and I think Jaehaerys was also mentioned in H&L clips. My point was that certain Targaryen Kings leave bitter taste..."Dance of Dragons" is still considered one of the worst wars ever happening in Seven Kingdoms and H&L describe it very much in detail. And in the ...

Re: Lord Parramandas's written reviews
"And I really enjoyed the moment when Dany pointed out that House Stark pledged fealty to Aegon the Conqueror for eternity, but on the other hand Jon pointed out that her father murdered Lord Rickard and Brandon Stark, his grandfather and uncle." I liked Dany's response to this that Jon's father ha...

Re: Howland Reed?
I guess the North could be assuming that Jon is on detached duty, even when we know better. But if that is the case, I'd think it'd be worth at least one line of dialog to explain - even if it was something snarky from LF - just so it makes sense to the viewers. Hmm I think I got an explanation. Th...

Re: Howland Reed?
But also, what is the stop for the paradox of LC permission for the LC himself to leave? I don't think there's a paradox because I don't think the LC has the power to release someone from his oath. There's certainly no wiggle room in the oath itself: " It shall not end until my death " (and there's...

Re: Lord Parramandas's written reviews
And Targaryen dynasty being a »golden era« of Westeros... apart from Aerys, the Targaryen kings weren't really saints: Maegor the Cruel, Aegon II and Rhaenyra, Aegon IV the Unworthy... those were tyrants when it comes to ruling. And then we have incompetent rulers: Aenys I the »king abomination«, D...

Edit, NVM I see this has been clarified.

Re: Howland Reed?
I've got no doubt that R+L=J. I just hated the way that D&D handled Jon's resurrection, abandoning his Oath by leaving the wall, and showing up with his Wildling army at Winterfell. The viewers know that it was all legit but the Northerners, who supposedly live in a society where honor is paramount...

Re: Howland Reed?
Besides, given how much of Daenerys we've seen, there's not much space to put that birthmark. Her feet! We've never seen a close-up of her feet! Maybe Dany and Jon (and Tyrion and Meera?) have "Targaryan Toe"? :o As an eye witness, he knows that Ned brought a baby away from the Tower of Joy, and th...

Re: Edmure
Arya probably had no clue he was there. she didn't know that Jon was King in the North, which is a much bigger and well known piece of news then the fact Edmure is still a prisoner. Then again Aray had to have spent time at the Twins to accomplish what she did. So maybe she knew and just didnt care...
