I think he will get a great scene between Jaime and Bran in the first episode of S8 in WF.

LOL at D&D hating Jon and hating that they have to keep him in the show. Jon's super fans are becoming annoying and paranoid just like Stannis' fans back in S2-S5.

Having Cersei, Euron, Jaime, Gregor in S8 is what will make that season interesting. Jon and Dany together fighting the WW is too simple as a conclusion to this story.

Killing them in S7 would kill the show, just like killing Jon or Dany at this point would..
