Didn't it happen in a similar fashion to a character in the books that they merged with Sansa for the show?Stark Wolf wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2017 11:56 amMy first response was, this didn't happen in the books!! But with time it did make since for the TV Series. Just one opinion!

Re: Are you rewatching before the new season?
I'm on Season 5 of my 3rd watchthrough. It's amazing how much more emotional some of the scenes are when watched again because you know how things will end up (Robb saying goodbye to Bran, Sansa wanting to be queen, so on.)

Re: Spin-Off Ideas
Would be cool if they made a spinoff solely about places we've never seen, both in show and books. The books barely mention Sothoryos, so I doubt it will appear on the show, some fans speculate there are actual dinosaurs in that continent. Which yeah, dragons are cool and all, but dinosaurs, dude. ...

Re: End of Thrones.
1. Dany ruling Elizabeth I style in KL, expands role of common folk (House of Commons like thing), naming an heir of her choice or transitions to abolish monarchy after death. Jon and Starks Living together as a team in WF. Jorah LC of NW (if still necessary). Tyrion gets CR and dies age of 80 etc....

Spin-Off Ideas
Perhaps this discussion is preemptive, but when faced with the daunting and inevitable realization that Game of Thrones will eventually end, I often find solace in the prospect of at least one spin-off show to come later. I know there has been a lot of talk and discussion about which topics we would...

Re: Did Sansa's Rape Scene Really Merit the Controversy?
But the writers didn't call it a twist of fate. They never seem to acknowledge that Sansa even lost narrative agency. Going into Season 5, they kept insisting "this is the season that Sansa goes from pawn to player"....which is contradictory with your reading that it was a twist to show she's being...

Can I Subscribe w/o the Email Notifications?
I like subscribing to threads/posts and getting notified when someone posts on them, but I don't like getting an email every single time. Is there a way to set it so that I only get notified under the "notifications" area on the website and don't get am email? Edit: Figured it out. Bookmark, not sub...

Re: Did Sansa's Rape Scene Really Merit the Controversy?
If they had read the books they would be even more pissed off if they knew what Ramsey made Theon do to Jeyne on their wedding night. Fake outrage in my opinion and I dont think it hurt the show at all. TO your point, they should have been more upset over Craster's incest harem. Couldn't agree more...

Re: Did Sansa's Rape Scene Really Merit the Controversy?
To put it simply, D&D butchered whatever Sansa had left to her character, they threw everything to the trash and for what, a little bit of shock value? By the end of season 4 when Sansa walks out all confident, everyone was sure that this marks to end of Sansa's naive little girl phase. Everyone th...

Did Sansa's Rape Scene Really Merit the Controversy?
Yes, I know that it was two years ago. But, Sansa's rape is still considered by many to be the most controversial scene in the show. Many viewers claimed they stopped watching the show due to the scene, and the episode suffered poor ratings because of it. Yeah, it was dark and messed up. But isn't t...
