Maybe they are saving the deaths for whatever is going to happen in the Dragon Pit? Cersei's "perma-smirk" (thank you Pigeon for that phrase) just bodes ill.
I hope Jorah gets to meet Lyanna Mormont. But there is only so much time left and I doubt that will happen.

Re: Why would Sandor Clegane leave the brotherhood ?
My guess is that Beric wants to be up north for any opportunity to fight the NK. I'm basing this on that scene in this past episode where Beric is talking to Jon and points to the NK and says HE is the ONE they have to kill. If he is on his last life and sees this as his mission, staying in the nort...

Re: What is Sansa's intention when sending Brienne ?
I think she is confused over what to make of her little sister all the while trying to handle the Northern leaders and prepare for winter. I just realized that I hope this is the case. I'm not looking for another hero with incredible powers, just a girl who became wise enough to understand her own ...

Re: What is Sansa's intention when sending Brienne ?
I think two things factored into her intentions. First, Sansa's fear of Cersei and going back to KL is real, given all that happened to her and her family there, so I think that is a strong motive. Second, I think removing Brienne from the situation defuses some of the tension because Brienne would ...

Re: Who will wield Heartsbane?
Good question! The Hound because he always wanted some of that Valarian steel! But the others in the list would be good too. Jorah would be my next choice. Both Sandor and Jorah know how to fight with a sword. Doesn't Tormund fight with an ax? Theon is a good archer, Pod's training with Brienne coul...

Re: 'Catspaw Dagger' Importance?
I think Littlefinger is a suspect too. But I think there is another, even more suspicious candidate. Too spoilery to even suggest it. Bran has given one clue - it's someone very wealthy. It's someone who wants to cause trouble between the Lannisters and the Starks possibly to start a rebellion. It ...

Re: 'Catspaw Dagger' Importance?
Something I think we should be considering is who in truth gave the dagger to the cat's paw to kill Bran. Are we convinced this was Joffrey? I am not. Valyerian steel is really valuable even Joffrey wouldn't give it away, right? I have a theory and I fear I could be correct, so I will let it slowly...

Re: 'Catspaw Dagger' Importance?
Thanks for the background on the dagger, it is interesting. I hope that it does have some special purpose beyond being a unique weapon. As you have pointed out, a lot of attention has been given to that dagger so at least let it be used in an important moment. Maybe Sam will get back to WF and meet ...

Re: Curmudgeon comments
If this were anything but a fantasy epic, these inconsistencies would drive me bonkers. But it is a fantasy so I just go along for the ride! I will admit that when the door was left open during Grey Worm and Misandea's (sp?) love scene I was thinking "could someone close that door, please..." Those ...
