Re: Rhaegar's and Lyanna's Secret Marriage

It's barely a spoiler at all though, is it? We already know about the marriage, and have been shown enough via Bran's vision to infer who the bride was.

Well I haven't watched it, and have so far managed to avoid spoilers. I'm not going to cave in now.

I thought it was LF's? He said he lost it to Tyrion in a bet in S1.
Ah! If Littlefinger said that, it must be true.

Re: Wait, so are D&D producing the spin-offs or not?

Re "executive producers". I don't think this means they would be the main, hands-on producers.
If you look at the credits for Game Of Thrones episodes, there are around 20 people named as producers in various capacities. D&D aren't the only "executive producers".

I'll take a few. Slicing a candle in half doesn’t put it out. Not sure what you mean here, but if it's Arya's final scene with the Waif - knocking a candle to the ground usually extinguishes it. Jon was right behind Wun Wun when he broke the door at Winterfell. When he attacked Ramsey, Jon picked up...

Re: Chaos is a ladder...

The use of "whom" had almost died out of informal English. (The language doesn't have many case variations.)
But very recently "whom" and "whomever" have enjoyed a massive revival; I have no idea why.
Sadly they are often wrongly used. I think we were better off without them.

Re: Meera's knowledge

But we know all this already, because we saw it happen. Having this sort of exposition scene would not be advancing the story, it would just be repetition. We can assume that the story has been told off-screen.

We may yet get some nods to Rickon, Ramsay etc. Let's wait and see how it plays out.

Re: Chaos is a ladder...

Drawing in those cheeks by half the diameter of a crown? (Not British.) Not quite. It's a reference to the relative size of the, er, adjacent orifice. Half a crown was the largest pre-decimal British coin. A tanner was slang for a sixpenny coin, which was considerably smaller. https://thumbs.worthp...
