Re: The Problem with Winterfell

Of course it's Arya's storyline. She's not standing on the sidelines being passive. She's actively threatening Sansa. If Arya is reacting to Sansa, then it equally works the other way - Sansa is reacting to Arya. And it's clear that Arya is operating on childhood resentments - she refers to Sansa's ...

Re: The Problem with Winterfell

But we aren't just seeing Sansa's story at Winterfell. We're also seeing Arya and Bran's experience at Winterfell. You see Arya not quite fitting in, of still dealing with childhood resentments. You see Bran not involved with Winterfell anymore - his focus is on the Night King. Arya is getting as mu...

Re: What is Sansa's intention when sending Brienne ?

Sansa is playing it smart by letting LF think that he still has influence over her. All the while Sansa is learning from him, but not in the way he wants.

Re: The Problem with Winterfell

You're reminding me of Arya at this point - it's all about Sansa. And that, in a nutshell, is Arya's problem. It was all about Sansa when she was a child, and it's all about Sansa now. There's nothing like a getting a bit of payback by intimidating the sister that you've always been jealous of with ...

Re: What is Sansa's intention when sending Brienne ?

Because she trusts Brienne to best serve the North's interest at the meeting at King's Landing. However, it also signifies that Sansa listens to LF to learn as much as she can from him about strategy but uses her own judgment about implementing it. LF is actually giving himself away in that conversa...

Re: ONLY for those that have seen S7E6 - Disappointed?

I don't remember Sansa and Ned talking, only Ned and Arya. Regardless, Sansa betrayed Arya and the butcher's boy for Joffrey and it cost her her dire wolf and the butcher's boy's life--along with a subplot of her suffering for 5 seasons. Ned told Arya that Sansa had no choice - she had to back Joff...

Re: ONLY for those that have seen S7E6 - Disappointed?

Dude you are wrong. she told Ned the truth before hand but Ned never agreed it was the right thing in the book nor the series. He merely stated in the series she couldn't betray Joffrey because that was going to be her husband. Arya never agreed that Sansa did the right thing. And Ned never said sh...

Re: Do faceless men have the power to grow taller at will?

Arya said that when she wears a face she's "in their skin." I take from that that she acquires their physical shape, including height, too.

Re: Odds of Dany Winning

I don't think Dany took on her brother's personality after his death. You can only ever have your own. But she did take on the Targaryen cause. For the times and place (medieval) this would have been her duty and she would have betrayed both her ancestors and descendants if she didn't at least try. ...
