Will they all be short? The sea battle was great, but short. Will the CR battle be short? We also know that Episode 4 has the ambush and it is the shortest episode of the season and one of the shortest episodes of the series. Will the ambush be short and the Wight Hunt short as well?

I do think the Wight hunt might be long, but he also has to meet some people before they go hunting. The rest will be short I think.

- Next episode will contain the Battle for Casterly Rock, and the sacking of Highgarden so these battles will be short.

- The ambush and the wight hunt will be the big battles.

We're doing to see Highgarden? So episode 3 will have 2 battles? Was that quick clip of Jaime in the episode 3 preview of him at Highgarden?

Yes that's Jaime in Highgarden. We won't actually see the battle for Highgarden just the aftermath of it I think.

Budget restraints I guess.

I keep hearing that NK gets a dragon, but how? Why is a dragon beyond the wall? Is Dany part of the hunt? And how many dragons does she lose? Does the crossbolt Qyburn built kill one too?

According to the leaks during wight hunt, Jon at some point send Gendry back to Eastwatch to contact Dany. She arrives with her dragons, but the Nights King throws a spear into Viserion's neck, he falls into an icy lake. Later he retrieves the dragon and reanimates it. Qyburn's scorpion will not kill any dragons this season.

- The NK apparently kills Viserion by throwing some sort of spear at it.
- Dany isn't initially part of the hunt; she shows up at towards the end
- No Bronn hits Drogon with the crossbolt essentially bringing him down but he (Drogon) doesn't die.

I purposely kept it somewhat vague as I've seen you say that you don't want detailed spoilers.

Oh and here's Alan Taylor (Director for EP6) all but confirming that Dany shows up to the wight hunt
When I first met Clarke in Belfast, she was shooting on the back of a dragon. When I leave a week later, she’s still at it. “Thirty seconds of screen time and she’s been here for 16 days,” the episode’s director, Taylor, remarks at one point. Later on, I’d remember this moment of exhaustion when Weiss described seeing the buck for the first time. He went on to add, “It probably feels a bit less amazing to Emilia, who sits on it for eight hours a day, six weeks in a row, getting blasted with water and fake snow and whatever else they decide to chuck at her through the fans.”
Edit: Oops, just saw Boudica answered your question.
