For the people that have read the leaks, is he in this season?

Lads 1 said he wasn't, but then Lads 2 said he was and that Arya frees him from the Twins or something

Leaks, if they are correct, say Arya releases Edmure from the dungeons and tells him he can return to Riverrun. It seems to fit, so at least a 50%....

So the leaks were wrong unless Arya freed him off screen?

Maybe that was the original plan, but the actor wasn't available?

The night she killed him, Arya heard Walder tell Jaime that Edmure was in the dungeon. In Walder/Arya's toast speech, he/she said that it was the second feast in a fortnight (two weeks).

So maybe we will learn later that she had already released him. Otherwise, maybe Roslin will want to become Lady of Riverrun?

From what we know from the spoilers for the second episode, it seems like lads one was correct.

The actor who plays Edmure was apparently spotted in Belfast around the time of filming, but it's possible he may return in season 8 instead. I've been wondering about this since Arya decimated the Freys too!
