I don't live in Birmingham but if there was an afternoon showing of the play I might have been able to get back to my hometown while public transport was still running. I have overnighted at Birmingham New Street Station some years ago and it's not necessarily something I want to repeat.
It's ridiculous, isn't it? I live less than 100 miles from Birmingham, about 90 minutes drive, but going to an evening event there by train is not an option as there's nothing after about 10 pm. Same applies to other major cities within a similar distance. The only exception is London which does offer a train after midnight (but not on Saturdays!) and it's a stingy three-carriage effort which is always jam-packed.

I'm going to have to pass on that play, GrandMaester. It will be showing in Manchester but the tickets were very expensive I thought and only about 4% were left and the other venues were too far away or difficult to get to. Still, maybe there will be a revival sometime.

I'm not really a fan of horror but came across this interview with a couple of actresses from The Nun and see that Charlotte Hope (Myranda) is in that film. She's at about 1:10 https://youtu.be/9A7FKrNBhso

I've mentioned Jessica Henwick before but someone had done a brief compilation of some of her scenes from Silk where she played a pupil barrister (a little time before she appeared on GoT). https://youtu.be/iVJRampw9E4

Been rewatching 'Inside No. 9", currently on BBC iPlayer, and Conleth Hill is in S1E3, "Tom & Gerri".

Conleth Hill gets around does he not? As he has quite a thatch when he's not playing Varys I guess he is possibly not so easily recognised when he's in ordinary clothing. Going back to the 1990s a young Indira Varma was in a film called Karma Sutra. How true it was to the source material I don't know but here the sculptor is played by Ramon TIkaram (who played one of the characters Dario killed in "Second Sons"). https://youtu.be/mvWdOSJ7l2c
