Are you rewatching before the new season?

I thought it might be interesting to see how many of us fans are rewatching GoT before the new season 7 premiere. I haven't started a rewatch of season 6 yet but I am planning to marathon it next week. How is everyone else handling the preseason? :D

I'm on Season 5 of my 3rd watchthrough. It's amazing how much more emotional some of the scenes are when watched again because you know how things will end up (Robb saying goodbye to Bran, Sansa wanting to be queen, so on.)

I'm not re-watching the whole series again- I've done that 3 or 4 times before now- but I made sure to catch up on Season 6 episodes.

Thinking about it. If you start a rewatch tomorrow it would be 5 episodes per day until the premiere.

I've finished re-watching. It's interesting to pick up any foreshadowing you may have missed. I didn't really need to re-watch series 6 though as it was still fresh in my mind.

I agree. I think on my last watch through I cried more at the Red Wedding than ever before. Even my first time watching it I KNEW what was going to happen from the books so I was just excited to see it play out.

I did a rewatch early this year, same I did last year before S6 premiered. I just recently started watching but I'm WAY behind (about to watch "Baelor", S1 episode 8). It's amazing how, even though you know what's going to happen, still you hope for things like "Bran, don't climb that wall/Sansa, don't go to KL/Ned, just tell Robert about his incestuous wife", etc... I'm not sure I'll be able to finish all 6 seasons before the 16th (crazy how we are only a mere 12 days away from S7).. We'll see.
