Re: Arya Scene
You were determined to be disappointed, whatever happened. As for the magic, we've seen glamour used before. Even in the book, where Melisandre uses a glamour re Mance Rayder. It's not explained in detail, nor does it need to be. Not really, I gave substantial evidence as to why the scene fell flat...

Arya Scene
I’m going to try and explain why I’m so upset over the Arya scene and in general the fall of this show since last season. I used to love this show because it always kept me guessing. It always made me wonder: what’s going to happen next or what’s going on here? Take the cold open to S5 for example w...

I was just sitting here thinking tonight: we're 10 days away and I've barely paid any mind to the new GoT season. I only periodically check the headlines on this site and sometimes post a comment, but that's about it. Compare this to the offseason between S3 and S4, when I rewatched the S1-S3 too m...

Re: Have I gone too far with my butt hurtedness over S6?
Looking at the season 7 trailers, I don't know if the season can win you over. There's going to be much more emphasis on action scenes/battles than on politics/characters. And to be fair, the books will head in roughly the same direction and the Whitewalker plot will gain more and more traction. Bu...

Re: Have I gone too far with my butt hurtedness over S6?
Now that the show is sort of seperating itself from the books (we can only wait for TWOW to confirm or deny this) obviously the characters are going to be a bit weaker, and the focus is mainly going to be on the visual stuff. It's honestly bound to happen, since they don't have GRRM's genius writin...

Re: Season 7 Major Events Predicitons
It seemed like Jaime and Brienne said goodbye for good in S6, but it would be a nice surprise if that wasn't the end of their story.
