Re: Howland Reed?
No oaths have been broken by Jon's leaving the Wall. We have seen brothers of the NW leave the Wall before now to carry out missions, such as recruiting (Yoren, Benjen). The Night's Watch is not what it was, being severely depleted, and needs the backing of the united North. If this were true, then...

Re: Howland Reed?
As an eye witness, he knows that Ned brought a baby away from the Tower of Joy, and that the baby was Lyanna's. It was obvious from the circumstances whose baby it was. And as you go on to say, Ned may have confided more details to him. An eye-witness account is only corroboration. He might be lyin...

Re: Euron as valonquar
He's not a little brother to Cersei. Again, it would be horrible writing if this pertained to any male with an older sibling: it has to be someone who is (preferably ironically) Cersei's Little Brother.

Re: S7 E3 The Queens' Justice: Thoughts
I'd be surprised if Dany doesn't seek to enact some sort of retribution against Euron, unless of course Jon convinces her that his cause is the more pressing, but even then it would be dangerous to leave a wildcard like Euron at her back and free to carry out whatever chaos he wishes. This would no...

Re: Ice Spiders?
They mentioned them again at Hardhome. I think we'll see them peither this or next season. When you're gonna bring this up this many times, they have aces up their sleeves. Hmm, twice in 6 years is not that many times! Let's put it this way: most of the viewers are not going to remember these refer...

Re: Howland Reed?
If the other characters are expected to believe it, there should be more proof than somebody's word. Maybe a Targaryen birthmark or some other trope? heh, guns fired late need to be hung early! If there was such a thing, then it should have been introduced already. Besides, given how much of Daener...

Re: Religion in Westeros
So personally, that makes me appreciate weirnet, old gods, dragons, but I was distrustful of Rh'ollor I permit myself one crackpot idea per major series: for this one, it is that R'hllor is the remnant of Azor Ahai suspended in magic across time because of whatever he did to end the War thousands o...

Re: Howland Reed?
He can authenticate what is possibly the most important of Bran's disclosures. Actually, Howland Reed cannot authenticate Bran's claim: all he can do is support Bran's claim. Bran has much better means at his disposal of showing how he'd know things because Bran is going to know all sorts of things...

Re: Arya Scene
3. It is implied that your voice matches the face you are wearing. Arya did in in S6E10. Jaquen and The Waif have done it as well. Yes, the dropped the ball on that storyline. But that part holds consistent. It also is a trivial plot point. Showing Arya learn that as she learned the whole faces tri...
