Are you positive that's the same guy? I thought later that episode Tywin told Jamie that he had him come in from Volantis to rework the sword. Gendry's boss worked in Kings Landing.
It's the same guy. He's from Qohor.

Re: Gendry theory

I think a lot of people missed a very important detail that might hint to his future. Season 4 episode 1, Tywin is reforging Ice into Oathkeeper and Widow's Wail. And who reforged the swords? Tobho Mott, the man Gendry used to be an apprentice of. Very few people know how to reforge Valyrian Steel,...

Re: Potential biggest GOT shock ever final episode season 7?

And someone mentioned her holding the dragon egg and not getting burnt, I'm pretty sure she did get burnt and just didn't notice because she was so mesmerized. In the books she grabs the eggs all the time, everyone else does too. It isn't made a big deal of so I guess they just added that scene for...

Re: Odds of Dany Winning

Dany had a vision in the House of the Undying of walking thru the Throne Room in the Red Keep. It was in ruins and the snow was falling thru the ruined roof. I don't think anybody's getting the Iron Throne.

Re: Magic at the Wall

The Wall was built at the end of the Long Night by Bran the Builder to keep the WW out of southern Westeros - supposedly . It's all myth, not history. I'm one of those who believe that the Wall was built by the WW to stem the northern invasion of First Men. If the WW did build it, then they can brin...

Re: Braavos

Whether or not Braavos has a standing army, they've got a lot of money and Essos has a lot of mercenaries. There's a nasty rock protecting the entrace of the harbor called the "Arsenal" that is full of fortifications and warships. Also, Braavos is home to the Faceless Men (who founded the city and a...

Re: King Snow

Wouldn't he be "King Jaehaerys III Targaryen" (at least according to the lip readers of the Tower of Joy scene)?

Re: Cersie's demise

I thought of that, too. But part of the prophecy is "the valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale white throat and choke the life from you". I can't come up with a way that a deadly pregnancy can match up - unless it's supposed to be very poetic.
